NBA stars are highly praised for their fashion sense off the court. Each day as they make their way to the dressing room, their attire and bling are something to be talked about on the internet. However, when it comes to retired basketball legend, Shaquille O’Neal, much can’t be said. Today, we compare his watch collection to golf legend and Billionaire, Tiger Woods.

Tiger is known to be one of the richest athletes of all time. Thanks to his big endorsement deals with Nike and Rolex, and his career earnings, the 15-time Major winner was recently announced to have joined the billion dollar club.

Though Shaq is far away from the billionaire status, with a net worth of $400 million, he does have some big endeavors to look after. With a combined net worth of $1.4 billion, which sports legend has a better watch collection?

Tiger Woods and his watch collection

Tiger has had various brand agreements throughout his 26-year professional career, with some of the biggest watch companies, including Tag Heuer and Rolex. It is therefore clear that the 15-time Major champion has an exquisite collection at home.

Woods has several Rolex watches. It is mainly because he has been a brand ambassador for the Swiss company for almost a decade now. He wears a Seadweller Deepsea 11666 Rolex. Woods owns another Deepsea. He additionally purchased the limited-edition Cameron D-Blue Men’s Watch. Tiger said he enjoys wearing the watch in different environments. Each watch is close to $14,000 in price.

Given that he owns two Deepseas, it is clear how highly he values this particular version. But it was discovered that the 46-year-old golfer also sleeps with his Rolex Deepsea on. Tiger also owns a Tudor Prince Date 72000 series and TAG Heuer Link Calibre 16 Chronograph.

The lightweight Rolex Submariner Date, which retails for about $7,000, is the watch that the Hall of Famer favors wearing on a typical day. Tiger also has a Rolex President Day-Date, albeit he rarely wears it. The 40 mm case of the watch is made of 18k white gold and has a fluted bezel.

Seeing the pricey watch collection of Tiger Woods must leave plenty of fans in awe. However, it looks more distinctive when you compare it to the 4-time NBA Champion’s watch collection.

Shaq’s watch collection is very dry compared to Tiger’s watch collection

Like many of Shaq’s businesses such as various Papa John’s branches, Five Guys branches, and much more, the NBA analyst also has a watch endeavor. In 2020, Shaq joined hands with a premium watch brand, Invictus, to release his own watch line.

The Invicta SHAQ .17 Carat Diamond Men’s Watch – 55mm, Gold, Steel (37598) sells for $1,119. The costliest watch from the joint venture costs around $9,999. The collaboration has a collection of 244 watches. However, all watches are worth around the 4 figure mark.

Though many may consider this as less of a flex from Shaq, the NBA legend has a positive outlook on it. Similar to him turning down his mega-deal with Reebok, and making affordable shoes accessible to everyone, Shaq’s watch collection too has the same idea. The 50-year-old hopes to create an accessible watch collection for all the big folks around the world.

Tiger and Shaq are legends after all

Though both men have a lot of different preferences for watches, they do have a lot in common. As Woods had his historical Tiger slam during the 2000-2001 timeline, Shaq too began his Lakers dynasty alongside Kobe Bryant, doing a three-peat.
