Yesterday TGL, a golf league to be launched by Tiger Woods and Rory McIlroy, announced the introduction of their new investor, Lewis Hamilton. However, today it was revealed that the list of investors goes beyond the 7-time F1 World Champion. The list includes sports royalty names such as Steph Curry, Serena Williams, and Josh Allen to name a few. Let’s take a look at who else has joined the exquisite list.

Announced in August, TGL is a new tech-infused golf league, that partnered with PGA Tour to take over their nemesis LIV Golf. The league is co-founded by Woods and McIlroy and goes under the banner of TMRW sports. However, apart from the PGA Tour duo, the company has a new set of investors, which will help it elevate beyond the boundaries of golf.

It was reported that the league will have 26 athletes as investors from ten different domains, which include NBA, NFL, F1, MLB, NHL, Tennis, Soccer, Gaming, Surfing, and even from the Entertainment sector. Let’s take a look at who all are the new investors in Tiger and Rory’s company.

List of investors in Tiger Woods and Rory McIlroy’s TMRW Sports

The joint venture of the golfers publicly announced the arrival of Lewis Hamilton into their endeavor. However, he isn’t the only F1 driver leading in the investment race. Ferrari driver, Carlos Sainz along with his former McLaren teammate, Lando Norris will also be part of the golf league.

The Buffalo Bills quarterback, Josh Allen along with the former Dallas Cowboys quarterback and commentator, Tony Romo is also included in the list. Serena Williams is known to be quite close to Tiger, so the golfer made sure she too joins the list of investors, along with 3-time Grand Slam winner, Andy Murray. 10-time Grammy Award winner Justin Timberlake also invest in the company.

Popular Twitch Streamer Ninja, along with Former Real Madrid forward Gareth Bale also will be an investor. Nonetheless, the most notable of all investors is the 4-time NBA Champion, Stephen Curry, who also has his Warriors teammate, Andre Iguodala included in the pool of investors. The list also includes NBA stars, Chris Paul and Jayson Tatum.

When is Tiger and Rory’s TGL starting?

The TGL will kick off its inaugural season in 2024. With such high-profile names, the league also expects top golfers to compete. With the arrival of the LIV Golf series, the PGA Tour players’ loyalty to the 92-year-old Tour and TGL is in jeopardy.
