The 2022 LGPA Tour season of Nelly Korda may have been underwhelming to her standards, however, she does have a lot to look up to outside the course. She recently teased a new collaboration with her sponsor, which has left the fans eagerly waiting for the release of the merchandise. Let’s take a look at what’s all the fuss about.

Nelly Korda has been widely considered the future of women’s golf. She made the headlines in 2020, after winning the gold medal in Tokyo Olympics. A year later, Korda went on to win her maiden Major after claiming the 2021 Woman’s PGA Championship.

Nonetheless, the 2022 season hasn’t been pleasant, as Korda failed to secure a single win in 13 starts. Despite that, she still is placed at 4th rank in the LGPA Tour and has exciting news for her fans on Instagram.

Nelly Korda’s exciting collaboration with J. Lindeberg

Korda has been signed to the golf apparel company J. Lindeberg since the start of 2021. The Swedish sports clothing company also has athletes such as Viktor Hovland and Matt Wallace wearing their designed clothes. Nonetheless, in a recent Instagram post, both Nelly Korda and J. Lindeberg will take their professional relationship to the next level.

The sports brand will launch Korda’s very own merchandise line. In the 10-second video, the 24-year-old teased her fans about what some of the merchandise designs would look like. “Excited to announce the upcoming launch of the Nelly Korda × J.Lindeberg collection”, wrote the former world number one.

The much-anticipated merchandise line is set to launch on November 15th. Undoubtedly, the collaboration will increase the brand value of Nelly Korda to higher heights. Apart from her deal with J. Lindeberg, the Olympic Gold Medalist also has more than ten sponsors, which include UKG Hanwha Q Cells.

The immense amount of brand deals has led to Korda’s earnings in 2022 to an exorbitant amount of $5.9 million. This made her the 9th highest-paid female athlete of 2022, according to Forbes. She earned $3.5 million off the course through endorsements while earning the rest $2.4 million through playing golf.

Nelly Korda was also included in Forbes 30 under 30 list. The female star has been making headlines through all mediums possible. With her recent collaboration with J. Lindeberg, it’s only about time that Korda expands her popularity beyond the sport of golf.
