The life of an athlete is hard with immense pressure, tagging along like a shadow at every turn. That’s why when they do take a day off, they like to relax and do the things they love. In the case of world number one Nelly Korda, that time is spent binging TV shows and movies. She recently took some time out for herself after the end of a strenuous season on the LPGA Tour, and the golfer watched TV for hours together.

She even suggested the show she binge-watched to her fans.

Nelly Korda approves a TV show for the fans

Nelly Korda spent part of her day yesterday at home, watching a new favorite TV series. She binge-watched a Netflix show. Nothing makes Korda more relatable to others her age at the moment. It’s easy to forget that, despite her impressive resume, she’s still just a 24-year-old girl.

Korda posted a story on her Instagram to let the fans know what she was watching, because it was amazing. She wrote, “Okay I’m really enjoying watching this show,” with a photo of her TV on the 7th episode of the Netflix show “Wednesday.” She went on to display her approval of the show to her followers and said, “Anyone that watched the Addams Family growing up should give it a try.”

That wasn’t the end of Nelly’s binge session. After watching the entire eight episodes of the show, with each having an average run time of 50 minutes, Nelly then moved on to the 1991, “Addams Family” movie on Netflix. She wrote, “I finished Wednesday in one day…. May as well put on the movie too.”

Korda has a busy schedule ahead

It’s safe to say Nelly had a relaxing day. She spent close to seven hours binge-watching a show and another hour and a half watching the movie. The LPGA superstar probably deserves the day off more than most. Her constant training and dedication to the sport shows in her world rankings and her wins this season.

She won the Pelican Women’s Championship earlier last month and topped the individual leaderboard at the Aramco Team Series in Sotogrande, in August. Korda now has the QBE shootout to play in on the 7th of December. She’s the only LPGA participant besides Lexi Thompson at the event. Soon after, Korda and her father will feature in the PNC Championship, looking to get a win.
