Nelly Korda shares the plan of not performing before the Solheim Cup in Spain
This year Korda is among those selected players who will be representing Team US in the Solheim Cup in Spain. Nelly understands that it is a very important event and is taking her time to prepare well for it. With her latest Instagram post, the pro golfer declared she is gearing up for the Solheim Cup.
The Cup will be held in Andalucia, Spain from 22-24th September. But before that, the LPGA is hosting the Kroger Queen City Championship in Kenwood Country Club, Cincinnati, Ohio and the prize purse is $1.75 million. However, Korda has chosen to skip the event.
Korda herself announced her plans on Instagram where she posted a picture of herself from last week’s event and wrote: “It’s a never-ending learning experience when it comes to golf. Lucky to be able to do what I love and continue to grow from it 🙌🏻 Next up: @thesolheimcup in 🇪🇸 and then 🇰🇷&🇲🇾”

And fans are in support of this decision of hers as well. Extending their best wishes for the Cup, fans wrote positive comments on the post.

The golf community encouraged Korda to play well at the Solheim Cup and “Bring it home”
Once again Nelly Korda’s fans showed that she can count on them for support and they will always be there for her, even through the rough phases. One fan wished her luck and suggested she try the Spanish coffee. “Good luck in Spain. Great coffee over there.”

All took home a prize of $21,739. And now fans can’t wait to see her win in Spain.
