Tiger Woods is a legendary golf player. Young golfers idolize him and admire him for his consistency and his techniques. But life cannot always be a bed of roses. There have been many difficulties in his personal and professional life which affected his game. But one incident completely changed his life forever.

The brutal accident of Tiger Woods

It was a bad day for all golf lovers and fans of Tiger Woods. On 23 December 2021, the five-time green jacket winner, met a brutal car accident in the Rolling Hills Estates community in Los Angeles County. He suffered multiple leg injuries, which almost cost him his right leg. They admitted him to Harbor-UCLA Medical Center, where he had a major surgery on his right leg.

He suffered “comminuted open fractures” in both the upper and lower portions of his tibia and fibula in his right leg. It was brutal, and it was uncertain if he could ever come back to the course and play his magnificent game. The accident was so brutal that he just survived and had to undergo months of treatment to get back up. In fact, he still suffers with a limp on course which often becomes painful while playing tournaments.

Barack Obama’s encouraging words for Woods

In this hard time, former POTUS Barack Obama’s warm words for Woods made everyone’s heart melt. He took to his twitter account and wrote a strong and powerful tweet to support Woods. The former president sent prayers to Woods’ family and wrote, “Sending my prayers to @TigerWoods and his family tonight—here’s to a speedy recovery for the GOAT of golf. If we’ve learned anything over the years, it’s to never count Tiger out.”

Barack Obama wished for a speedy recovery and return of the G.O.A.T. of golf. There were multiple comments on the tweets by Woods’ fans wishing him good. The former No. 1 and 15 times Major winner received love and good wishes and could finally make a comeback in the current PGA Championship.
