The Christmas festivities seem to be an ongoing event in Las Vegas. But aren’t we in February? Well, yes, but the joy that is packed into the entertainment capital of the world in the days to come is bound to be precious. The next week will not only see the LIV Golf carrying out its Las Vegas event but also the Super Bowl! That too back-to-back!

Yes, you heard it right. Two of these much-awaited events in both the golf and NFL worlds, respectively, are set to take place one after the other. The LIV’s event is scheduled for February 8–11, and the Superbowl on February 12. However, this power-packed week comes with its share of downturns, one of which is the cost that is associated with the said events. Will a sports lover be able to attend both of these events and still go through the month, or will they have to choose their favorite?

The upcoming days are bound to be a time of choice for fans with a shared love for golf and the NFL. The choices are slim; you either pick one over the other or you accept a huge hole in your pocket. We aren’t saying this, the prices are!

The LIV Golf Las Vegas is the second tournament in the season’s calendar, and the excitement among the league’s fans is surely riding high. Especially, with so many big names such as Jon Rahm, Tyrrell Hatton, and Adrian Meronk being added to the roster. The 3-day ground pass for the event would round up to a total of $163.63 with taxes. Additionally, the 3-day pass with premium all-access hospitality will sum up to a total of $3,954!

Shockingly, the lowest ‘get-in’ price for Super Bowl Sunday’s matchup between the Kansas City Chiefs and San Francisco 49ers at the Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas is compared way more. The cost for the said get-in would sum up to nearly $7,231. For anyone thinking this is too much, this price is a discounted one from last week’s lowest price of $8,200 (as seen on TickPick).

So which one should a fan choose? Well, monetarily, a comparison between the two Las Vegas events would favor LIV Golf. However, it’s not just the price but also the experiential value these tickets hold in fans’ lives. But what are some key experiential points to keep in mind?

Comparing the experiential value of LIV Golf Las Vegas and the Super Bowl

While LIV Golf is still in its onset stage and suffers a lot of criticism from many Americans due to its history of establishment, and format, the Super Bowl is widely loved. Both of these events will feature a bunch of hospitality options. For instance, there are different hospitality options that luxury connoisseurs can delve into at LIV Golf. The Saudi-funded league has introduced the concept of a ‘party hole’ on the par-3 8th hole to keep things interesting.

Interestingly, the audience will also get to see the 8X Grammy-winner, Usher, perform his musical marvel in Las Vegas during the Super Bowl. Usher has nine No. 1 hits on the billboard, making him a fun-packed entertainer at the event. Comparatively, in past seasons, LIV Golf has seen award-winning artists like DJ Snake, Alesso, and Sebastian Yatra perform at their events.

All in all, the two options are surely amazing. Which one to pick is a matter of personal choice. However, if one finds the Super Bowl expensive, the entertainment options coupled with the mass public opinion sure signal in its favor. But if that’s not the case, LIV Golf is bound to be lighter on the pocket.
