‘Patrick Mahomes Is So Clutch’: Paige Spiranac, Max Homa, Jessica Korda, and More React to Chiefs vs. 49ers Thriller

For the third time in the Patrick Mahomes era, the Kansas City Chiefs have won the Super Bowl. The exciting event came to an end via an insane overtime thriller as Mahomes and Mecole Hardman delivered a touchdown and beat the San Francisco 49ers with a score of 25-22.

An incredible feat for the Chiefs at Allegiant Stadium as the whole world watched their celebration and celebrated with them. Among them were many golfing pros as well, who were enjoying the Super Bowl from their homes and were truly ecstatic with the game.

The golf diva has been a bit busy for the last few days, first attending the WM Phoenix Open in Arizona and then participating in the second annual Sports Illustrated Invitational at TPC Las Vegas. However, like a true American, Spiranac tuned in to watch the final Super Bowl showdown. It appears that Patrick Mahomes’s football skills have impressed the 30-year-old, as she took to her X handle to applaud the Chiefs quarterback and said, “Patrick Mahomes is so clutch it’s ridiculous.”

Super Bowl shenanigans with Max Homa and Michelle Wie West 

While the celebrations were going on, the 6-time PGA Tour winner was busy explaining the NFL rules to his wife, Lacey Homa. Max Homa tweeted out a funny post about how difficult it was going to be for him to explain to his wife how overtime works in the Super Bowl, humorously noting that explaining the “save timeout was already an adventure’.

While the world was watching Taylor Swift’s reaction, Michelle Wie West was busy zooming in on her hand. Why? Because Swift had been wearing West’s branded bracelet. The former golfer had exclaimed her excitement when she first became aware of Swift’s bracelet and once again she was on the lookout for the same.

West shared on her Instagram story a picture of Swift hugging her friends during overtime and captioned it, “Not me zooming in to double check that @Taylorswift is wearing my bracelet @WOVE MADE.” West was truly happy as her bracelet made its way into the Super Bowl.

Luke Donald and Jessica Korda praise the Chiefs’ players

While American golfers cheer for their team, a European pro has also come out in support of the Chiefs. The 2023 Ryder Cup captain, Luke Donald, was all in for Patrick Mahomes’ legendary skills. The captain shot daggers at those who used to criticize Mahomes and started some conspiracy theories.

His tweet said, There goes the conspiracy theories!” Talking about his favorite NFL star, Donald could not contain but to say, “Mahomes is just pretty, pretty good #SuperBowl.”

While Mahomes was truly applauded by the masses, the new mommy on the LPGA Tour, Jessica Korda, had declared someone else as her all-time favorite. It was none other than Jason Kelce. Korda shared a creative picture of Alan from Hangover, which presented Kelce as Alan. Her post read, “This will never not be my all-time favorite.” The post was aimed at showing Kelce as the ultimate Las Vegas conqueror after the Super Bowl victory.
