She said, “I have never met Tom Brady. … We’ve never had any type of interaction… It’s so crazy how one very innocent tweak turned into such a crazy rumor. And it’s mortifying. … So I keep checking to see if he’s blocked me which he hasn’t, thank goodness.”

However, Paige decided to clear the air. She also talked about how most people just go through with the headline without reading the complete piece. And even though the article covered how they are not actually linked, it was too late. The impression was already cast.

The fuel to the Brady-Spiranac rumor was Paige’s reply to one of the comments on a tweet that shipped her with Tom Brady. The tweet said, “If I were Tom Brady, I’d call Paige Spiranac. This would be a power couple.”
