From Patrick Mahomes to Roger Federer, Miami Grand Prix did not disappoint when it comes to bringing together the biggest sports athletes in the world. While most were applauded for their making presence at the Miami International Autodrome, one LIV defector was among the long list of notable athletes.

Who was the LIV star on Miami’s Race grid?

Hours after Max Verstappen claimed his third win of the 2023 Formula One season, LIV Golf shared a picture on their Instagram handle. In the series of snaps, Majesticks’ English golfer Ian Poulter, who also happens to have a love for Formula One, posed with greats from across the field of sports.

In the first picture, Poulter was pictured with the Tennis legend Roger Federer. “Great to catch up on the grid walk”, wrote the golfer. The LIV Golf star, along with his family, then posed with two-time Super Bowl winner Patrick Mahomes. He then took a picture with both Ferrari drivers, Charles Leclerc, and Carlos Sainz, and also with Williams’ Racing driver Logan Sargeant.

Australian driver Daniel Ricciardo also posed with the English golfer. Avid golf admirer DJ Khaled also took a selfie with Ian Poulter. Though the golf star himself, Ian chose to share the spotlight with legends from different domains. Nonetheless, as the pictures made it to social media, fans shared their take on Poulter’s snaps from Miami Grand Prix.

Golf world reacts to LIV star’s pictures with the greats

With Ian Poulter’s star-studded gallery, fans couldn’t contain but react to the pictures. One fan commented, “That looks like a pretty decent weekend!!!”, while the other wrote, “Wow, very cool”. Majesticks’ opponents Smash GC also commented while appreciating Ian Poulter’s young son, Josh Poulter.

“The Josh Poulter content is our favorite”, wrote the Instagram handle of Smash GC. One fan even applauded the golfer for being a ‘Great dad’. Another user added, “Poulter doing what Poulter does”. While the LIV Golf star spent last week posing with the greats of the sporting world, he will be hoping to win his maiden LIV event in Tulsa this weekend.
