NFL star, Tim Tebow, is all set to participate in a college fundraising golf event in San Angelo next month. The 35-year-old, who remains without a franchise, will head back to familiar surroundings for the LWBIWH’s annual “Presents” fundraising luncheon and inaugural celebrity golf tournament.

While it is no secret that Tebow likes to play golf in his leisure time, the former Denver Broncos player hasn’t participated in many amateur events before. However, the University of Florida alumnus didn’t hesitate to accept the invitation from the Laura W. Bush Institute for Women’s Health (LWBIWH) for their prestigious annual event, which includes a golf tournament.

In Tebow, the University has prided itself in associating with the NFL player. The $5 million-worth man won the Heisman trophy during his college years, an accolade that is considered a stupendous achievement. The trophy is awarded to the most outstanding player in college football, with roots dating back to 1935. It is usually presented in early December, before the season games begin.
