Tim Tebow set to play golf

While it is no secret that Tebow likes to play golf in his leisure time, the former Denver Broncos player hasn’t participated in many amateur events before. However, the University of Florida alumnus didn’t hesitate to accept the invitation from the Laura W. Bush Institute for Women’s Health (LWBIWH) for their prestigious annual event, which includes a golf tournament.

The event will take place on 3rd April, with Tebow set to contest against other celebrities at the Presents Golf Tournament at San Angelo Country Club. The competition will be based on the four-person scramble format, with entry up to $300 per golfer and $1,100 for a full team.

The session is available for others as well, with a limited number of tickets starting at $150 per person. The fundraising event seeks to support the health of the local communities through scientific and medical care, as well as providing education and physical and mental well-being of the local residents.

In Tebow, the University has prided itself in associating with the NFL player. The $5 million-worth man won the Heisman trophy during his college years, an accolade that is considered a stupendous achievement. The trophy is awarded to the most outstanding player in college football, with roots dating back to 1935. It is usually presented in early December, before the season games begin.
