Patrick Mahomes is highly regarded as the future of football. He won his first Super Bowl ring in his third year at NFL. However, despite all the hype surrounding the quarterback, he never had the appreciation of the golf’s biggest social media influencer, Paige Spiranac. Nonetheless, with the commencement of the new NFL season, things look to change as Spiranac apologized to Mahomes and even admired his performance in the season opener.

Last season, Patrick Mahomes’ Kansas City Chiefs were considered the favorites to win the Super Bowl. However, they were defeated by the Wild Card team Cincinnati Bengals in the AFC Championship final. Following the Chief’s defeat, Spiranac tweeted, “Patrick Mahomes is down bad…”, and a few more unpleasant words about his family.

However, the Kansas City Chiefs kickstarted their 2022 NFL season by defeating Arizona Cardinals by 21-44. As Mahomes compiled 5 touchdowns and 365 total yards, Paige Spiranac appreciated the quarterback’s performance and even apologized for her past comments.

Paige Spiranac apologizes to Patrick Mahomes

In her podcast, ‘Playing A Round With Paige Renee’, Spiranac most commonly speaks on topics related to golf. However, as the football season has arrived, the spirit of the NFL has even affected the former pro golfer. In the most recent episode, Paige Spiranac talked about the results of week 1 of the season.

However, while talking about the Chiefs-Cardinals game, she took time to appreciate Patrick Mahomes’ performance. Moreover, the 29-year-old also criticized the Arizona Cardinals’ quarterback Kyler Murray, stating he needs to spend more time analyzing the tapes before the matches.

Paige Spiranac said, “And the Chiefs dominate the Cardinals 44 to 21 gets Kyler Murray needs to read up on a little bit more film. But I will say Patrick Mahomes looked really good. I at times have said that”. She then proceeds to apologize to the 2019 Super Bowl champion.

Spiranac said, “I don’t think he’s going to actually have a good year and he potentially could be a little overrated and I was dead flat out wrong. And I’m sorry for that. Patrick Mahomes Not the first time I’m apologizing to you or your family”.

Paige Spiranac has always been vocal about her thoughts whether it’s golf or football. She doesn’t hesitate in sharing her personal opinion. However, the 2022 Maxim’s Sexiest Woman Alive also doesn’t mind apologizing if she believes she’s at fault.

Nonetheless, it’s only been one week of the 2022 NFL season and Spiranac is already making the headlines. We still have 17 more weeks of the regular season to understand what’s next on the mind of Paige Spiranac.
