Swedish golfer expresses grief over Aaron Rodgers’ injury

Recently, Aaron Rodgers sustained a major injury to his Achilles tendon during a tackle in the recent game between the New York Jets and the Buffalo Bills. The injury is allegedly quite serious, and Rodgers won’t be playing the rest of the year as per reports. While fans are optimistic about the situation, there is speculation that he may not play in the NFL again. 

Former Swedish golfer Annika Sorenstam, who is a friend of Rodgers, had posted on Twitter and wrote about how sorry she was about the recent injury that Rodgers suffered. “Sorry to hear that our friend @AaronRodgers12 has an Achilles injury. Huge bummer….😢 “

Annika Sorenstam is a legend in the golf world. Even though she has retired, now and then she plays. Not long ago, she played in the US Women’s Open. She has even taken part in the American Century Championship a few times. This is where Aaron Rodgers comes in. 

Rodgers is a golf enthusiast and has a long history of playing golf. He even considers playing competitive golf at some point in the future. Rodgers and Sorenstam have played together in the American Century Championship and since then they share a good rapport with each other.

Sadly, on the day of his debut game for the Jets against the Bills, a few days back, on September 11, he sustained the said injury. This injury, of course, marks the end of the quarterback’s season. Even the ones who have heard of him for the first time… they would also feel bad for the player.

His celebration, post a key game moment, is usually the championship belt movement. In honor of the wrestler Triple H, the NFL star imitates the move of wearing an imaginary championship belt around.
