However, in 2020, the tables were turned, as Spiranac was framed as a cyberbully herself by the fans, for a joke, tweeted by her on NFL star, Odell Beckham Jr.



Back in 2020, people were just coming to terms with the COVID-19 pandemic. However, the former New York Giants Wide receiver had much more to overcome, as a rumor of his sexual preference began to spread. According to Odell Beckham Jr.’s ex-girlfriend Slim Danger, the Football star had a fetish for getting p**ped on by his partner.

Though Odell denied the claim, it immediately spread like wildfire, getting reactions globally. Among those people was Paige Spiranac, who joked about the rumor and received backlash for it. Let’s take a look at how the drama unfolded on Twitter.

Paige Spiranac first made a joke then called out her critics

As the fetish rumor of the Wide receiver was drawing attention, Spiranac decided to get into the banter with a tweet of her own. She tweeted, “Must be shi**y to be OBJ today”. Following the tweet, the former pro golfer was bombarded with tweets from her followers, claiming that Spiranac was cyberbullying Odell.

One fan tweeted, “Not a good look for someone that claims they stand up for cyber bullying… do better Paige!!” Paige Spiranac herself has been a victim of online hate for many years. But now being framed as a cyberbully, the 29-year-old was unhappy.

A few hours later, Spiranac fired back at her haters with a tweet, “I get sl*t shamed and harassed every single day. I laugh it off. But the one time I make a joke about a guy and a stupid rumor about his sexual preference I’m told I’m cyber bullying”. Undoubtedly, the social media star has been an advocate for fighting against online hate.

It was only a banter from the former golfer that may have grown a little out of proportion. Paige Spiranac once even claimed to have received death threats. Despite all that, the 2022 Maxim’s Sexiest Woman Alive fought back against all the cyberbullying and claimed the throne of becoming golf’s biggest social media entity.
