The PGA Tour’s 5th event in the 2023 calendar year is currently underway in California. The AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am sees celebrities competing right alongside the pros. Among the celebrities is Aaron Rodgers, who has been paired up with the Canadian golfer Ben Silverman this year. But this isn’t the NFL star’s first PGA Tour event. And his partner the last time was none other than the latest PGA Tour victor, Max Homa. He recently threw light on the golf pro’s way in a funny post-round interview.
Homa and Rodgers share a strong bond. Having spent time on the course together, they have also become good friends. They often even indulge in hilarious online banter. Will this perhaps be one of those times?

Aaron Rodgers calls out Max Homa for ignoring him
Rodgers has been doing quite well for himself on the celebrity front of the Pro-Am. Alongside Silverman, the NFL star has maintained his lead at the end of the third round. With the game being suspended due to weather, the Green Bay Packers quarterback is now only inches away from his lifting the trophy at the pro-am.

But among the victorious celebrations, Rodgers hasn’t forgotten about his former Pro-Am partner, Homa. The former NFL star even publicly fired shots at the six-time PGA Tour champion. The quarterback was asked about Homa in an interview with CBS after the third round. “I think he was obviously the anchor,” he said with a smirk. “He was holding me back from holding the trophy.”

The NFL player added that he certainly missed Homa, but that he was now a rising star and had left Rodgers behind. “He’s big time now,” said the 2011 Super Bowl champion hilariously. “He’s won six times, so I don’t even get a call back.”

With just nine words, he hysterically shut down the one-time Power Bowl winner. After his recent win at the Farmers Insurance Open last week, has Homa now won again in this entertaining banter war?
