Paige Spiranac’s Take on the Controversial Super Bowl LVII’s Halftime Leaves Fans in Splits: ‘If You Say So’

Paige Spiranac is not new to controversies. Whether it is about her or others, the former golfer-turned-influencer loves to chip in with her comments. As a Sunday for Americans to celebrate nothing but NFL, the most discussed topic in the sports world was Rihanna’s Super Bowl Halftime Show. While many liked it, many NFL fans found it boring, forcing the 29-year-old to make a statement about it.

Did Paige Spiranac like the halftime show?

After a grueling game, Kansas City Chiefs won against Philadelphia Eagles with a 38-35 score. Although it should be the highlighting news of the day, people are still discussing singer Rihanna’s highly anticipated performance in the Halftime Show.

While many criticized her for a “boring” performance, the Colorado native Spiranac didn’t reciprocate this thought.  As a matter of fact, she felt the performance was great and wrote on Twitter, “Rihanna is effortlessly cool and that was amazing. That’s it. That’s the tweet.” 

Usually, Spiranac’s fans agree with her whenever she makes such comments. However, it was different this time.

Although many disagreed with her, there were some loyal Spiranac fans, who always support her no matter what, and Rihanna fans who backed her statement.

Notably, supporting other celebrities and sports entities is not a new thing for Paige Spiranac. After retiring from golf and taking up her role as an internet influencer with a huge fan following, she often tweets or makes a statement through her Playing a Round with Paige Renee podcast to create a conversation among her fans.

Hence, when the Halftime Shows started earning more hate on the internet, Paige felt she needs to acknowledge it as well and wrote: “Hating the halftime show is unoriginal.”

This also caused quite a stir in the sports world. And fans called her out on her contrasting opinion.

However, some people found the Halftime to be nothing but entertaining.
