Phil Mickelson has had a rollercoaster of a career this past year. Last summer, the golf legend was the talk of the town when he signed with LIV. Soon after, his underwhelming performances in the Saudi-backed league were in the limelight. But all that changed at the Masters when Mickelson pulled a rabbit out of the hat, finished second, and showed glimpses of his former self. Ever since, he’s been on a hot streak, garnering a lot of attention! Thanks to his latest viral video, that’s only increased, with fans boldly declaring that “he’s back”!

Lefty has been on an incredible run since the Masters. In the LIV Golf event that followed, he placed 11th on the leaderboard, his best finish ever since joining the league. Moreover, he’s back to his old confident self once more, eyeing major championships. Of course, to remain at this high level, the six-time major winner is training too. And training hard!

This week the new series heads to Singapore, and ahead of the event that starts on Friday, the 52-year-old is once again practicing. Taking to Twitter, he uploaded a photo of himself “hitting bombs,” captioned, “It’s getting NASTY here in Singapore.”

Hitting in front of a speed recording machine, Lefty clocked a “nasty” 182 ball speed! The video, of course, went viral within minutes, and the LIV golfer’s insane skills were once again the talk of the entire golf town. They flocked to the video and sang high praises of him, even comparing him to arguably the best NFL player ever!
The golf world goes berserk over Mickelson’s shot
His massive hit had all the golf fans singing his praises. In the comments of the post, they began chanting that the old Lefty was back—the same one who won a major at nearly 51 years old!
