Every so often, the story of Woods and the Stanley Cup ending up at the same club in East Lansing, Michigan, pops up. And, this time, it is the award-winning musician Darius Rucker himself who has recounted the story in an interview with KFC Radio. The event took place in a club known as Rick’s American Cafe in 1995, where the artist had gone to enjoy himself after a busy night.

Rucker mentions how he sang at the GOAT’s wedding and his father’s funeral while reminiscing about the friendship he had with Tiger. Going back to the beginning, the Hootie & the Blowfish singer explained how the band had decided to play at all these clubs that were to be canceled.
