Woods joined hands with Nike when he first got on the tour. The former world’s number-one golfer accomplished a tremendous feat. In 1996, they agreed on a $40 million five-year pact that was later extended to $100 million for another five years. He was relatively new to the Tour then; his accomplishment was the talk of the town. And last year, when the new products were released, fans went crazy. However, the golf world got another dose of the gorgeous shoes, thanks to Fleetwood.

The pro golfer is yet to add a PGA Tour win to his resume. He’s been a Ryder Cup hero, he’s won seven times worldwide, but he continues to search for his maiden Tour victory. Probably, Valspar Championship can be his chance to prove his worth. After a 3-under 68 around the Copperhead Course Thursday, he’s in a prime position to check that off his wish list.

According to Sports Illustrated, the 15 times major championship winner was not ready to return to competitive golf last week at the Players Championship; however, he was able to get to Augusta National. According to an inside source, the five-time Masters champion played the course on Thursday. It is common practice for golfers of the Masters field to take advantage of the perk that allows them to visit before tournament week. Woods played a practice round a week prior to last year along with his son, Charlie. But it was not clear who played with Woods this time.
