Golfer-turned-influencer Paige Spiranac is flourishing in what she does. She shared how it all started in a recent series of Instagram stories. And she is quite literally the first in many cases. And that led to others joining the influencer game as well.

Now, one among the new breed of social media influencers met former US President Donald Trump. The new social media influencer on the block recently posted a snippet of her TikTok on her Instagram story. This was where she recalled meeting Trump and feeling intimidated.

Paige Spiranac’s rival meets ex-president

Hailey Rae Ostrom often shares her sports knowledge on her Instagram profile. And fans engage with it. While Paige Spiranac is an established brand, Ostrom is a label in the works. She is a thriving amateur golfer and holds superb control over her swings.

Ostrom recently recalled meeting ex-president Donald Trump. She said, “So, I was invited to a LIV golf tournament to play in their pro-am and it happened to be the one in New Jersey at the Trump National Golf course. I was pretty intimidated because I was there by myself. And I was around all the PGA LIV players, as well as celebrities like Caitlyn Jenner I played with that day. And president Donald Trump.”

Paige Spiranac’s rival met Trump through a member who was also playing at the course that day. “He was showing me the ropes and introducing me to people. While we are on a driving range, warming up, he said, do you wanna go meet Don?” 

To Hailey’s surprise, the member revealed they were friends with Donald Trump. And Ostrom said yes to meeting him. She also adds, “And before anyone says anything, this is not a political post. This is not telling about my political statements.”

Hailey is referring to the tournament as the pro-am prior to the LIV Golf Invitational – Bedminster at Trump National Golf Club Bedminster on July 28, 2022. Trump has not shied away from expressing his opinion, which also stands true in the case of LIV Golf.

Per USA Today, he defended his business relationship with the Saudi-funded tour during the same event. And he characterized the future of the LIV league as bright because of the enormous purses. What do you think about the revelation?

Donald Trump and LIV Golf

Donald Trump is known for his prowess on the greens. And his passion is further deepened by his partnership with Saudi Arabia’s LIV League. Last year, his golf courses hosted two of eight LIV events.

In the past, he has hummed many praises for the Saudi-backed league. And as per him, it has benefitted both golf and America.

He was asked last year if he would suspend his relationship with the league if he returned to the White House. But Trump maintained his silence on the topic. He has often associated the people in Saudi Arabia as his friends.

In recent news, Trump took to socials and announced he won the Senior Club Championship, shooting a round of 67. He said people may not take him seriously. And with Secret Service Agents surround him,, no one can do anything. Trump also regarded himself as a good golfer and athlete.
