After years of playing golf, Tiger Woods has maintained the level of his game. Woods has played and won 82 PGA Tour events, 15 of which are from major tournaments. Now, following a long wait, Woods will be making it a proper tour return at the Augusta National Golf Club.

Though it has been a hot minute since Woods played a major, the Masters would have been incomplete without the living legend. He alone has won five Masters titles, the latest one being during the 2019 edition of the tournament.

Having said that, Woods’ comeback will be no easy feat. Sidelined since last February due to his car accident, Woods has been dealing with various injuries. The 46-year-old icon has held on, returning with newfound confidence.

When will Tiger Woods retire?

Of course, Woods also ended up speaking of his retirement at the press conference. The golf legend loves to compete and knows he will continue playing at the highest level he can. If he can win, he will play, and the day he does not think he can, he will refuse to play.

“When I decide to hang it up when I feel like I can’t win anymore and that’ll be it. But I feel like I can still do it. I feel like I still have the hands to do it,” Woods said. He even mentioned his body carrying on, currently just good enough to play.

Furthermore, Woods agreed to have played in worse situations. Ultimately, he ended up winning then as well.

Woods was also asked about winning the Masters, which he believes he can do. While Woods’s return has excited fans on social media, his confidence about the same seems like the icing on the cake.

Not only will Woods play at the Masters, but he also thinks he can win.

How did Woods confirm his Masters’ appearance?

While talking to the reporters, Woods confirmed the news. “As of right now I feel like I’m going to play,” he said, which was all the indication and assurance his fans needed.

That being said, Woods has clearly worked hard to make a comeback. A road to recovery is never easy, especially after an injury like Woods suffered. At one point, fans had to wonder if Woods would ever make his comeback. The 15-time major winner also played the PNC Championship with his son Charlie.

Overall, one will have to wait and see how Woods will actually perform. Despite his confidence, the road to victory will be tough, especially after months of only practice.
