With Zack Johnson’s declaration of his six captain’s picks, the golf world is in turbulence. While there were several deserving candidates for the limited spots, only six—Justin Thomas, Brooks Koepka, Collin Morikawa, Jordan Spieth, Rickie Fowler, and Sam Burns—made it. And just like every Ryder Cup year, this time too, there were many who were not thrilled with the chosen ones. And among them was also a social media celebrity!

Ex-POTUS Donald Trump’s favorite author, Nick Adams, who operates on Twitter with the user name Alpha Male, has expressed his displeasure with the captain’s six picks. However, it seems like not many in the golf world agree with him about those who he claimed were “snubbed.”

The ex-POTUS’ favorite author is not happy with Zach Johnson’s captain’s choices

Adams, who made headlines earlier this year over his internet banter with golf beauty Paige Spiranac, is once again attracting the attention of fans with his latest tweet. Just like his big fan, Donald Trump, Adams is also a supporter of LIV Golf and vouches for their players. And while this time only Koepka made it to the Cup, Adams believes that the other players were wronged.

In recent weeks, the likes of Dustin Johnson, Talor Gooch, and Bryson DeChambeau expressed their desire to play in the prestigious international event; however, the captain’s picks came as a heartbreak to these LIV defectors. And Adams stood right alongside those who were certainly upset about it.

In his latest tweet, the author expressed his fury about not having more than one LIV star on the team. He wrote, “Phil Mickelson, Dustin Johnson, Patrick Reed, and Bryson DeChambeau were snubbed from the US Ryder Cup Team.” The author also posted a series of pictures in which Donald Trump is with these players, and in one, he himself stands beside the former POTUS.

Though Adams is in full support of these golfers playing in the Ryder Cup, the internet thinks otherwise. After his tweet, the fans quickly showed Adams why he was wrong in his choices with logical reasoning of the situation and qualification against these defectors in the comment section.

This user disagrees with Adams statement that since Mickelson made it clear that no LIV golfer wants to play with the PGA Tour players, his non-selection was well deserving.

According to this fan, those players were simply not good enough for the team.

This user also disagrees with Adams’s views.

One user vouched for the other three but disagreed that Mickelson was snubbed and that he deserved otherwise.

Now, whether Adams likes it or not, the selection has been made, and LIV still has Koepka as their pride and joy on the team for the prestigious face-off. And if all goes well, he will undoubtedly make all the Saudi Series fans proud!
