Woods has been awarded the PGA Player of the Year a record eleven times now. However, Mr. Righty has not been a part of the Cup till now due to “physical” reasons. But what are his reasons?
Golf world disappointed with the updates on Tiger Woods and his health
The US team captain, Davis Love III, seemed to have remembered Woods during the game. As per sources, Davis called Woods during the 6th tee today at Quail Hollow. Woods has not been present in the Presidents Cup this year. The 15 times Major champion is suffering from grave physical circumstances and that has accounted for his absence in the competition this year.

Love said, “I was standing on the sixth tee for like an hour … a long time, so I called him… I said, ‘Well at least you’re watching everything on TV. Call us if you see anything.’ He’s having fun. He obviously misses it.”
The Golf world reacted in a diverse manner to Tiger‘s absence. While some wished him health, others criticized his choice of not playing in the game. A Twitter user even went on to say, “Not good.”:

Although the question remains, how did Woods injure himself?
As you revisit the pages of history we get to know that Woods injured himself during a severe car accident in 2021. The images of the crash stunned the sports world. The star player severely injured his right leg and foot. Although many people from the Sports World speculated this to be the end of Woods’ career in golf, he chose to fight his limitations.

He said, “It’s been tough, but I’ve gotten here, I’ve gotten this far and I still have a long way to go. Each and every day’s a fight, and I welcome that fight. Get up in the morning, let’s go a few more rounds.”
However, people have started their speculations again late. Woods’s non-participation in the 2022 Presidents Cup has added on to the already ignited fire.
