After marrying Mike McGee, a former sports agent, and giving birth to their daughter Ava Madelyn, Sorenstam retired from golf to focus on her family. Despite being a mother, Sorenstam has not lost her drive. She runs several businesses, has a golf academy, designs golf courses, and has a clothing line. She also participates in committees focused on promoting golf, including trying to get it into the Olympics. Sorenstam has left her career in golf behind, but she hasn’t ruled out the possibility of returning someday.
