Nelly Korda once talked about how her encounter with Jack Nicklaus was insightful for her throughout her career so far. Nicklaus apparently gave her advice when she was thirteen that she still holds close to her.

Nelly Korda and her sisters’ encounter with a legend
The famous professional golfer, Nelly Korda, once shared her experience of an encounter with Golden Beer. Back in 2012, a 13-year-old Nelly came to the Bear’s Club with her sister Jessica where the duo encountered Jack Nicklaus.

The golf world legend took the time out of his day to help train the budding talent houses. Nicklaus helped them both by employing their lower body to better their swings. Nelly remembered the same instance from her early career.

Nelly said, “His entire demeanor on the course and off was so impressive. It was a dream come true for him to take time out of his day and play with two girls who aspired to play golf for a living. He gave us the advice to just relax and enjoy the game.”

Jack was impressed with the Korda sister. He made a remark about their game post the session they spent together. Nicklaus said, “They are two terrific talents.”

Nelly also talked about the powerful advice Nicklaus gave her and her sister. His words were rather liberating. When a player truly enjoys their players and knows their next step, playing not only gets more interesting but also easier. Nelly is probably at the top of her career right now, and maybe a small share goes to the early advice given by Jack Nicklaus.
Jessica supported Nelly after her first LPGA victory
The Korda sisters share a bond like no other. Their love and support for each other are evident through their actions. The power duo becomes each other’s pillar of strength as and when needed.

Nelly shared her first LPGA victory with her sister, Jessica Korda. Both of them FaceTimed as soon as the game got over to share an emotional moment with each other.
Nelly said, “Walking off the 18th, my sister was on FaceTime and I just lost it. It’s a bond. She’s definitely my best friend. ”

Their bond is as strong as a rock and it is refreshing to see this sister duo always supporting and standing up for each other through thick and thin.
