18 bar and restaurant to reopen at St Andrews
The new rooftop restaurant on the top of Rusacks St Andrews, which offers one of the most iconic views over the well-known Old Course Golf Links and West Sands Beach, is commencing business soon. The doors opened for guests on Friday 17th September 2021. The place is named “18” because of the quintessential 18th hole, which is visible from the rooftop restaurant.

Golf fans from all over the world are eager to visit the place at least once in their lifetime. A tweet from Golf Magazine writer Sean Zak about “18”, the bar, is receiving all kinds of reactions from fans.

Fans said they would happily pay higher for a beer just to enjoy the view. While some even compared the place to “heaven”.

It wouldn’t be wrong for a die-hard golf fan to say that the place was intentionally made to make the customers feel that way. Some fans, on the other hand, are concerned about the price of the drinks at the bar.

A Golf fan’s heaven – The 18 Restaurant and Bar at St Andrews
The place is specially designed in a way that provides a breathtaking view for people who want to chill after a hectic day at work and chill through the evening. People will be able to get a taste of delicious Scottish food made by Masterchef – The Professionals 2008 winner, Derek Johnstone. The customers will be able to enjoy dishes cooked in an open flame robata grill, along with other seafood delights.

The re-opening of Rusacks marks the commencement of two dining conceptualizations. One is The Bridge, which will present the best Scottish produce ever, as per 18’s commitment. And the second one is One Under Bar, a cellar bar serving the most likable beers, whiskeys, and many cocktails.
