The English professional golfer took to Twitter to share a comment his wife, Jennifer Rhodes, made while watching the championship. She went on to compare the young golfer with Brooks Koepka. The comment made by his wife took the internet by storm as comments poured in as a reaction to it.

In the post, the 32-year-old golfer goes on to take a funny jab at himself as his wife made the comment of Koepka reminding her of her husband. He went on to reply: “So I went and showed her my trophy cabinet.” Pepperell used the fact that he has zero wins at majors while his American counterpart has 5 wins to make a witty comeback.

Later on, Eddie went on to inform his followers that his wife clarified the comment she made. She said so because “Brooks has entered his not too slim, scruffy phase”. His wife’s innocent jab at her husband resulted in a hilarious response as the golfer went on to share the same on his Twitter handle.
