Although Paige Spiranac is not a professional golfer, the former pro and social media sensation boasts a following of one and surpasses even Tiger Woods. The golf mommy is one of the most followed golf personalities on the internet and she has yet again proven her prowess by defeating all the pro golfers except one.

The recent triumph of Spiranac has positioned her right after her esteemed idol, Tiger Woods. What it has also done is offer Spiranac a physical contest with another legendary player, Gary Player.

In 2023, Paige Spiranac was the second most searched golf personality in the world, surpassing pro golfers like Rory McIlroy, Scottie Scheffler, Viktor Hovland, and more. In America, Spiranac topped the most searched list in 4 states; Alaska, Arkansas, Wyoming, and Wisconsin.

Moreover, she was the second most searched in 32 different states as per Vegas Insider. While being second to her inspiration, Spiranac has undoubtedly attained a major victory this year, courtesy of which offered her a new contest with Gary Player.

After topping the charts of Google, Spiranac has been presented with a sit-up contest by Player. The South African icon had previously engaged in a similar contest with the social media sensation when she was only 23 years old. Now, he took his social media to ask Spiranac again, “Are we due for another sit-up contest next year, Paige?”

In 2016, the golf diva and Player participated in a sit-up and push-up battle against each other at the Gary Player Invitational at Wentworth. Spiranac was joined by many other golfers and competed in these strenuous exercises. Even then, Spiranac had enjoyed her time and felt “blessed“.

The once deemed hottest female athlete ever, Spiranac was lucky enough to contest with Gary Player.

After playing at the GP Invitational, the golf diva shared a tweet with Player and said, “Was so blessed to be able to play with one of my heroes today at the @GPInvitational! He’s such an inspiration💪🏻” This was one of her last plays as a professional before she turned into an influencer.

Spiranac has not replied to Gary Player’s invitation for another go at the contest, but as a golf influencer through and through, you might see her doing sit-ups with Player in a few days.
