The stage is set. Everyone is ready. It’s time for Brooks Koepka vs Bryson DeChambeau – the long-awaited showdown. The golf community is excited to watch this special match, but one person is not so keen on it, and it’s none other than Paige Spiranac.

Paige Spiranac is uninterested in Brooks vs Bryson

The retired golf professional is not too hyped about The Match 5: Brooks Koepka vs Bryson DeChambeau. Spiranac has her set of reasons for feeling this way and she recently explained her opinion through an Instagram reel:

“So here’s the thing. They already made up at the Ryder Cup. Why are they doing this match? Now they don’t hate each other. There’s been no back and forth and honestly, I’m not looking forward to it at all,” Spiranac asserted in a video clip posted by PointsBet USA.

Spiranac further reasoned that the banter is just going to be “plain” between the two competing golfers. The 28-year-old added that Phil Mickelson and Charles Barkley will be talking about the same old stuff from the commentary box – Phil’s coffee and Chuck’s terrible swing! The San Diego State alum wants something “different and fresh.”

“With all that being said, yes, I’m going to watch it. Yes, I’m going to make myself a nice plate of leftovers. You know what else I’m going to do? Take a nice little nappy,” Spiranac added.

Safe to say that Paige Spiranac is not at all hyped for Brooks vs Bryson. She understands that is all for the sake of popularity and that there is no real beef going on. Do you feel the same?

The fifth edition of The Match will be hosted at the Wynn Golf Club in Las Vegas. The showdown is much anticipated as both golfers have been jawing at each other over the course of several weeks.

Both Koepka and DeChambeau talked about each other a few days ago and the comments were nowhere near positive. While the beef seems to have died down, it might reignite when they face each other on the golf course.
