Paige Spiranac doesn’t believe in Fernando Tatis Jr.’s explanation
Tatis Jr. released an official statement after testing positive for Clostebol. The Padres star player explained that he got the drug in his body after taking medication, which had Clostebol in it, to treat ringworm.
“No! He knew what he was doing,” Spiranac stated through a Twitter video. “He knew he was taking steroids like a ton of other players,” she added. According to Spiranac, no doctors would risk prescribing medicine like it to a player like him, who has signed a $340 million deal for the next 14 years with his team.

Mostly, all his San Diego Padres fellow players had a negative reaction to the superstar shortstop’s test result. According to them, he disappointed them with his immature behavior. His coaches and the San Diego Padres’ management team had a similar reaction to all this. However, Spiranac didn’t agree with their response as well. “You (the other players) have done the same thing,” she said in the video.

Notably, Tatis Jr. had been on a break from his career to recover from a broken wrist he suffered from a motorcycle accident. With the ban, which he accepted without an appeal, he will miss the next 80 games, 48 this season, and the first 32 of the next season.
Twitter went wild after Spiranac’s controversial opinion
“Let’s make steroids legal,” the former professional golfer stated in the video. “I want to see those guys doing superhuman things,” she added. She also added that Pete Rose and Barry Bonds should receive Hall of Fame. Notably, Rose is ineligible for the same because of his association with gambling. Meanwhile, Bonds didn’t receive it due to his links with steroids.
It wasn’t a serious take. I know they aren’t going to legalize steroids lol

Spiranac revealed later that it was not her “serious take” on the matter. However, it was too late as her followers rapidly filled the comment section with their opinion on her statements.
I hate spots, but I extremely disagree. This will give an unfair advantage to rich people who can afford it. You start letting it into the majors, lower leagues will follow suit until you got a bunch of roided out trust fund kids in elementary school, leaving the rest behind.

You are so correct Paige. But, there needs to be a pre and post steroid record book.
Pete Rose should definitely be in the HOF. Bonds not so much. Steroids were not allowed when he used them in MLB.

It would rewrite the record books if everyone used them. Plus I am afraid the use of them could be harmful to the users. I agree that Pete Rose should be in the hall of fame. It is a shame that he is not there with his performance. He never threw a game.

I totally agree, especially with Pete and Barry. Put them both in HOF. Writers were biased not putting Barry in anyway. Since he was surly with many of the beat writers, but his numbers speak for themselves.
