Being famous comes with lots of benefits, but there are several cons too. And one of them is facing comments from critics who know no bounds when criticizing people on the internet. There was a time when Addison Rae had to go through one such experience when a fan questioned her hard work in hosting a UFC event.
When Rae expressed her gratitude on Twitter for the opportunity with her tweet, a user tried to bring her down with a harsh comment.

“Should we hire someone who busted their butt through college, and genuinely loves UFC and is hungry for an opportunity in journalism?? Nah, let’s hire Addison Rae because she’s popular for “throwing it back” on TikTok.” The user commented.

However, Spiranac came to Rae’s rescue on Twitter and left a sweet reply to the user saying, “Don’t discredit all her hard work. UFC is smart to hire someone with millions of followers.”
Paige Spiranac lashed at fat shamers on social media
Spiranac was recently invited to do the opening pitch for the New York Yankees. However, a video of her from the field went viral on Twitter after her followers decided to fat-shame her. In response to the comments, Spiranac decided to highlight a few of those comments on her podcast.
