Paige Spiranac Names ‘The Number One Jordan Spieth Hater on Twitter’

Jordan Spieth has won the 2022 RBC Heritage, and the golf world is happy about it. However, there is a person who does not like him. The former professional golfer Paige Spiranac revealed the biggest hater of Spieth and even discussed the same with her.

“Everyone listening right now, Sam is known to be the number one Jordan Spieth hater on Twitter,” Spiranac said. The golfer had a brief talk about why Samantha Marks dislikes Spieth on the latest episode of her podcast ‘Playing a Round with Paige Renee.’ 

Samantha Marks is a former editorial staff member of the Golf Channel. Furthermore, she has also played golf at the amateur level. And the golf coach Shauna Estes-Taylor has taught her golf at Arkansas. 

Additionally, Marks has covered the 82nd PGA Tour victory of Tiger Woods in her debut year working for the Golf Channel. She considers that one of the biggest successes she had in 2019. 

“Anytime Jordan Spieth is in the lead, you will see a hate tweet from Sam Marks. It is like a 100% all the time,” Spiranac said about Marks. 

The above tweet is one of the few examples of Samantha Marks being critical of Spieth on Twitter. From the date of her post, she was talking about the 2021 Valero Texas Open.

Interestingly, Spieth had won the Valero Texas Open championship with a 2-shot lead. He scored an overall 6-under 270 to win his 12th victory on the PGA Tour.

Paige Spiranac discussed why Samantha Marks hates Jordan Spieth! 

“What is it about Jordan Spieth that you hate?” Paige Spiranac couldn’t help but ask Samantha. 

“So he was very good for a short period of time. What has he done since?” Samantha explained how Spieth’s career went down after great success in 2015. 

After joining the PGA Tour in 2013, Spieth reached his peak in 2015 by winning 5 championships. This included two majors, including the Masters Tournament and the U. S. Open. However, he could only win two next year, and three in 2017. 

Furthermore, the 2021 Valero Texas Open was Spieth’s first victory after 2017. The golfer has won once again after a year with the RBC Heritage of 2022. 

Marks admitted she had been critical of Spieth over the years. However, Samantha stated that she doesn’t hate him. “I hope he wins all the rest of three majors this year. I hope I’m wrong,” she added. Marks added again, “I don’t hate him.”
