Jordan Spieth was a winner on the PGA Tour last week. The three-time major championship winner emphatically won the 2022 RBC Heritage at Harbour Town Golf Links. Moreover, the former professional Paige Spiranac recently made a shocking comment about the former World Number One.

The 29-year-old retired professional turned social media star is famous for making bold comments regarding golf and non-golf topics. Moreover, Spiranac was at it again in the latest episode of her podcast Playing a Round with Paige Renee. She talked about Spieth’s win last week, his 13th PGA Tour title, which came on an Easter Sunday.

Furthermore, while talking about the 2015 FedEx Cup winner’s victory at the RBC Heritage, she made an insane revelation about Spieth. She revealed what she used to think about Spieth back in 2015.

Paige said, “I will say though, especially like in 2015 he was a bit annoying. I wasn’t like the number one Spieth lover out there. You know, the way he would talk to his caddy. He just seemed a bit whiny. And I was never like a big fan about that. And then he kind of disappeared and has come back. I’m like, okay, yeah, like Spaeth is really good for golf.”

She added, “And it’s nice to have someone like down on top of the leaderboard, but then sometimes he will just like go back to being whiny again. I’m just like, shut up. You’re annoying it’s annoying.”

Spiranac’s worse proves how important it is to be on your best behavior in golf. At the same time, it also portrays how Spieth as a person has evolved over the years.

Jordan Spieth’s heroic playoff win last week

Spieth won his second consecutive event on an Easter Sunday at the Harbour Town Golf Links. The 28-year-old professional ended the regulation play of 18 holes with an overall score of 13-under-par. As a result, the event was extended to a sudden-death playoff between him and Patrick Cantlay.

Moreover, the 2015 Masters tournament winner carded a final round of five-under-par, 66 at the challenging golf course. His final round of 66 included two eagles, one birdie, and a single bogey on the opening nine holes. As a result, he moved out in four-under-par, 32. Spieth made two birdies and one bogey on the back nine to force a playoff. Furthermore, Spieth emphatically made a great up and down for par on the first playoff hole, and Cantlay made a bogey. As a result, Spieth won the event.
