UFC offered Addison Rae to cover a preliminary event ahead of the UFC 264: Dustin Poirier vs Conor McGregor in 2021. And she announced her achievement through a social media post.

Soon, many started accusing her of taking away the position from a more qualified applicant., whereas her fans tried to defend her. However, Rae later posted an “nvm y’all got me fired” tweet, implying her gig was over.

Addison Rae then had an impressive 38.6 million followers on Instagram back when the incident took place. As of now, she amasses a following of 40.4 million. Furthermore, she ranks number 4 for the most followed TikTok user in 2022, with a whopping 88 million followers.

According to Spiranac, she has been bullied her entire life. As a professional golfer, she received hatred from people for receiving more attention than any other player.

She has experienced bullying and knows the struggle inside out. Therefore, Spiranac offered to work with the Cybersmile Foundation to spread awareness of online abuse. The golfer became an ambassador of the NGO working against cyberbullying.
