March Madness is here! American basketball is up in a frenzy, as fans begin predicting the brackets and the final winner for the same. Joining in on the fun is also former professional golfer turned social media influencer, Paige Spiranac, who has her own set of predictions.

Spiranac predicted her final four and ultimate winner for the ongoing March Madness on her podcast, ‘Playing a Round with Paige Renee.’

“For my final four, I have Gonzaga versus Purdue,” said Spiranac as she revealed her first two teams in the final four. The golfer added that even though she thinks Gonzaga Bulldogs are a much better team and have higher chances of winning, she would choose Purdue Boilermakers as her winner. “I can’t abandon my fandom, and I have to go with Purdue on this one, even though I don’t fully agree with it,” Spiranac added.

“Next up, I have Arizona versus Auburn,” said the golfer as she chose her last two of the top four. Although she had trouble choosing between Gonzaga and Purdue, she had no problem with the options here. She said, “Going with Arizona.”

According to Spiranac, the final would be played between the Purdue Boilermakers and the Arizona Wildcats.

“I really really like this Arizona team,” said Spiranac. The golfer revealed that she has, in fact, been to Arizona University for her degree for a year and a semester. However, due to her love for the Purdue team, she picked them as her final winner.

“But, I think Arizona will take it this year,” Spiranac continued. “They are by far the most talented team.” She explained that the team has talented players and has a high chance of winning in the final. However, the golfer couldn’t leave her fandom and chose the Purdue Boilermakers as the ultimate winner.

Purdue is a 3-seed team, whereas Arizona and Gonzaga are 1-seeds and Auburn a 2-seed. Despite having a low chance of winning the Championship, Spiranac chose to stay loyal to the team that has her heart and chose Purdue as the NCAA champion.
