Paige Spiranac Predicts the Next Superstar in Golf

There are hundreds of professional golfers playing on the PGA Tour, but Scottie Scheffler has conquered the heart of almost all golf fans by winning the WM Phoenix Open, Arnold Palmer Invitational, WGC, and the Masters Tournament this year. However, the retired professional golfer, Paige Spiranac, has a different opinion. She thinks another one of the Tour players will rule over the world of golf.
“I think it’s Max Homa,” Spiranac said. She talked about who she thinks will be the next star player on the PGA Tour. Paige discussed the topic on her podcast, ‘Playing a Round with Paige Renee,’ with her co-host Amanda Rose.

“He’s one of those guys who is a killer on the golf course but has a great personality,” Spiranac reasoned why she thinks Homa is the future of golf. “He’s not afraid to show it,” she added. “And he likes to mix it on social media.”

Recently, Homa won the Wells Fargo Championship with an overall score of 8-under par. He won the tournament on a field that boasted the likes of Rory McIlroy and Rickie Fowler. Notably, Wells Fargo is the third title Homa has won in his last 16 starts, which speaks volumes of his consistency.

Paige Spiranac thinks it is time for Max Homa to shine!
“I think Max Homa is going to blow up very soon and especially after the Netflix doc that they’re doing,” she added. “I think that is going to set him to like superstar status in the golf industry.”

Netflix and PGA Tour have recently come together to shoot a documentary. The documentary will capture the intensity of training, travel, victory, and defeat of the players. Sergio Garcia, Max Homa, Viktor Hovland, Dustin Johnson, Collin Morikawa, and Justin Thomas are some of the Tour players who have signed up for being part of the documentary.
Notably, Homa recently announced that his wife is pregnant with a baby boy and Spiranac expressed her happiness at the news.

“It just seems like everything is going Max Homa’s way,” she further added. Paige also added that she will try to get the PGA Tour pro on her podcast.
