Paige Spiranac is an open book. As a social media influencer, she has shared almost everything about herself with her fans. However, did you know she is a comic book nerd, and there is a particular superpower that she always wanted to have?
Whenever somebody asks celebrities which superpower they would like to have, they usually say invisibility or being able to fly. That might have been what the ‘PGA Memes’ thought she would also answer when they asked Paige the same question. However, the former professional golfer had a totally different answer.

“I’d want to be Jean Grey,” Paige said. “I mean, come on. Who wouldn’t want to be her?”
Jean Grey is a Marvel Comic book character. She is a mutant with vast empathic and telepathic abilities. With her power, she can hear the thoughts and sense the emotions of others.
Is Paige Spiranac a comic book nerd?
In the interview, Spiranac explained that she is a comic book nerd. She added, “I can talk about superpowers all day long!”

Although Paige said she was a comic book lover in the interview with PGA Memes, it was not the first time she revealed it. She had disclosed her interest in comics in an interview with Esquire years ago.

“My absolutely favorite things to do is go to comic book stores on the weekends. I’m a huge comic book nerd,” Paige said. She was answering the interviewer’s question on how she likes to spend her free time. Spiranac also added that she loves both DC and Marvel comics since both have different aspects that she likes. She said, “DC’s a little bit darker, and then Marvel has humor in it.”
Esquire interviewed Spiranac in 2015 when she was still an aspiring golfer.
When did Spiranac retire as a professional golfer?

As an amateur, Paige was a successful golfer. She won several championships and, as a result, earned a scholarship from the University of Arizona. However, Spiranac couldn’t shine as much when she turned pro. Even though she has taken part in the Ladies European Tour and the Cactus Tour, Paige has never won a championship title.

Paige retired from professional golfing in 2016 and became a full-time social media influencer after she failed to earn a ticket to the LPGA Tour.
Even if you are the best at what you do, you might not become successful in it. Paige was a good golfer while growing up. However, she couldn’t turn that talent into a career. But she never gave up. As a result, she found success and is now one of the most popular social media personalities in the golf world.
