As a popular sport, golf has been adapted as the main subject of many movies. As a movie buff, the 2022 Sexiest Woman Alive, Paige Spiranac, revealed her favorite golf-related movie! 

Before becoming a successful social media influencer, the 29-year-old used to be a professional golfer. Spiranac has more than one favorite golf-related film. She shared it with the public through one of her Instagram reels. 

“What is your favorite golf movie?” The golfer added in the caption. “Love Happy Gilmore but Tin Cup is my favorite (heart emoji),” she revealed her answers.

Interestingly, both films Spiranac named as her favorites were released in 1996. However, their genres are different. 

While Happy Gilmore is a pure comedy film, the 1-time Cactus Tour winner prefers the romantic comedy, Tin Cup. over Love Happy Gilmore Notably, both movies received more than six star ratings from IMDB and were hits at the box office. 

Adam Sandler and Julie Bown starrer. Happy Gilmore received four award nominations, of which they won one. Sandler and Bob Barker received MTV Movie + TV Awards for Best Fight.

Meanwhile, Kevin Costner, who played the protagonist in Tin Cup, earned three nominations for his acting, including one from the Golden Globe. The movie received a total of four award nominations. 

What movie does Paige Spiranac love the most?

“The Dark Knight is my favorite movie ever,” Spiranac disclosed in an interview with Esquire. “That, or Space Jam,” she added. According to the golfer, she enjoys watching Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) movies and DC movies. 

Comic fans usually prefer one universe more than the other. However, the self-proclaimed comic book nerd explained that she loves both universes for different reasons. “I love them both so differently,” Maxim’s Sexiest Woman stated. “DC’s a little bit darker, and then Marvel has humor in it, with the movies.” 

Notably, the now 29-year-old had once revealed that she wants to have superpowers like the Marvel Comic character Jean Grey. She added, “I mean, come on. Who wouldn’t want to be her?” 

Although she loves her superhero movies, Spiranac also enjoys good romantic and comedy movies. And as a former professional golfer, she loves to watch golf-related movies, in particular.
