Of course, the YouTuber often collaborates with various brands and partners for her videos as well. Recently, she gave her picks for the 2022 Farmers Insurance Open, currently underway in Torrey Pines.

Paige Spiranac reveals her picks for the 2022 Insurance Open

The 28-year-old listed down her different picks and simultaneously also explained the reason behind picking those players.

Her reasoning is rarely wrong, because of her experience in the field. The possibility is even less at Torrey Pines in San Diego, her course while she was at the San Diego University. “Hello everyone. New week, new golf picks. We’re at the Farmers Insurance Open at Torrey Pines which is a course that I know very well. Shout out to San Diego State University,” Spiranac said. “I played golf there”. 

Her time at the university gives her a valuable understanding of the course, making her choices in the video even more precise.

What three players did Spiranac pick?

She chose Lanto Griffin as her outright winner, all thanks to his T3 finish at the American Express. Spiranac also added that he finished T7 at the same event last year, and deserves a proper spot on her list.

A Bonus player she chooses before moving forward is Sam Burns. “A consistently solid player,” Spiranac said, adding that he was a Top 10 player. “Plays well on all different types of golf courses”. 

The Long Shot pick for Spiranac is Brandt Snedeker. As per the retired golfer, Snedeker will be playing with a sneakily good record at Torrey Pines. In the end, she asks everyone to visit the site and make their own choices.

Fans seemed to love the video, agreeing with and thanking Spiranac for her time. Some even suggested players like Jon Rahm, who they thought would win.

The Farmers Insurance Open, which began on January 26, will continue till January 29.
