Any fan of Paige Spiranac is familiar with the fact that her favorite football team is Pittsburgh Steelers. She has been very vocal with her fandom for the franchise and has also provided her thoughts on the team and veteran quarterback Ben Roethlisberger. However, there was a situation where she had to apologize to the future Hall of Famer.

Paige Spiranac has been a die-hard Steelers fan all her life. During the 2021-22 NFL season, Spiranac could be seen making several videos online predicting the games before the weekend.
The six-time Super Bowl Champions Pittsburgh Steelers managed to grasp the Wild Card berth despite the record of 9-7-1. More importantly, the Steelers bid farewell to their franchise player Ben Roethlisberger after 17 years.

What did Spiranac said about Ben Roethlisberger?
Paige Spiranac does not feel shy while talking smack about Ben Roethlisberger. During the 2021-22 season, Steelers and Roethlisberger had a poor run of form. They were heavily criticized by Spiranac throughout the season.

The two-time Super Bowl champion was playing his last season in the NFL at the age of 39. It could easily be visible that Roethlisberger wasn’t the same quarterback as he once was.

Spiranac tagged Roethlisberger as a washed-up quarterback who can’t move that fast. She also claimed that Big Ben could not even throw a football. Despite her depiction as a Steeler fan online, she was the biggest critic of the Steelers this past season.
Spiranac apologizes to Big Ben
Against all odds, Steelers clinched a playoff berth due to their victory over the Ravens in conjunction with the Jaguars’ defeat of the Colts and the Raiders’ defeat of the Chargers on Sunday Night Football. After qualifying for the Wild Card, Spiranac posted a video on Twitter to apologize to the veteran quarterback.

At first, Spiranac’s message seemed sarcastic. She said, “I’m so sorry that I called you the most washed-up quarterback in the NFL. In my defense, you did need 46 pass attempts to get 123 yards in week 17. You look like a baby giraffe when your running and your old.” However, she ends the message with a positive note by saying, “But you’ve been our fearless leader with a never giving up attitude.”

Regardless of what anybody says, it is no doubt that Ben Roethlisberger has one of the most decorated resumes in the NFL.
