Paige Spiranac is one of the most followed golfers in the world despite her retirement. The pro golfer turned social media influencer enjoys the pleasure of being one of the most prominent entities in the golfing world. She is largely credited for her strong opinions pertaining to golfers and the game. Walking down memory lane, one such golfer that often gets a mention by Spiranac is Bryson DeChambeau.

Over the past couple of years, Spiranac has been highly vocal about her views on DeChambeau. Scrolling through her social media handle, it is evident that over a course of time, the American has called out DeChambeau for various reasons. However, in May last year, i.e. 2021, tables looked turned as the 29-year-old to her social media handle, admitting that DeChambeau is ‘good for the game’.

Paige Spiranac goes all praise for Bryson DeChambeau

Similar to Spiranac, DeChambeau also makes the utmost use of social media. The former US Open largely uses his social media handles to interact with his fans, offering a glimpse of his personal and professional life. Impressed by DeChambeau’s social media usage, Spiranac wrote, “Really cool! I know I’ve given him sh*t in the past but I love how Bryson utilizes social media to connect with fans. Love to see it! He’s good for the game.”

The praise from Spiranac came in reply to a Tweet by one of the fans.

Spiranac and DeChambeau’s feud

While Spiranac showered love on DeChambeau’s social media presence, it clearly wasn’t enough to put a blanket on their feud. Going back in time to the 2021 Players Championship, DeChambeau hit, what PGA Tour called a ‘bizarre’ shot in the final pairing. Taking a dig, Spiranac shared the clip on her Twitter handle, captioning it, “I get so much joy from watching the best in the world hit hacker shots just like us.”

Going further back, in 2020, Bryson asserted that the prestigious Augusta National is a par ‘par 67’ for him. A statement, to which Spiranac said, “Saying that the par at Augusta was 67 was so disrespectful.”

In March this year, she again visited the incident. Taking to her Twitter handle, she wrote, “Remember when Bryson called Augusta National a par 67. Good times.”
