In an update that hit everyone as a shocker, Woods has finally ended his extended silence on his health. The 15-time major champion spoke to the media on November 7 about his recently fixed subtalar joint. Moreover, details of the same were dropped by TW Spot on Instagram, and in the release, Tiger spoke about how his ankle is good after the surgery and how it doesn’t hurt anymore. Woods said, “My ankle is fine. Where they fused my ankle, I have absolutely zero issue whatsoever. That pain is completely gone. It’s the other areas that have been compensated for”

Woods also spoke about how the pain is mostly in the areas surrounding his ankle, which need to be more mobile. However, the former world number one didn’t touch upon his possible return, which might disappoint a lot of his fans. Tiger talked about the same with the Associated Press on Tuesday. He added, ” I’m pretty sore after caddying for four days. It was a flat course, thank God.”

Not to forget, the 15-time major champion was caddying for his son, Charlie, at the NB3JC earlier this week. Tiger’s comments came after the legend announced the sixth and final team of his high-tech-infused league, TGl. Woods revealed that he will take up part ownership of his team, Jupiter Links Golf. His love for the team is even more, since he, along with his kids, Charlie and Sam, live in his insane Florida mansion. However, only time will only tell, when the silence will finally break on his comeback.

Woods might be back in November

While the golf world still tries to digest Tiger’s latest update, they are eagerly waiting for November, 27. Bahamas is going to host Woods’ own event, the Hero World Challenge. The event will take place in Albany, but a spot is still left free, which everyone is speculating the veteran to fill. If Woods plays, it will be his first event in seven months, since he withdrew from the 2023 Masters in April.

Woods kept his hands full with many other golfing ventures, be it the TGL, self-designed golf course, or the caddying duties for his young one at the NB3 Junior Golf National Championship. But it’s been far too long since the golfing world has seen Woods’ magic on the greens and his fans are keenly waiting for the legend’s return.
