You probably know that Brooks Koepka and her long-time girlfriend Jena Sims threw a wild party when they tied the knot in the Caribbean last year. Jena Sims probably never found time to tell this story before. Now that her husband is away in Jeddah, the new mom has found some ‘me-time’ in her busy schedule and one clip from their wedding has reminded her of a wacky wedding gift. Apparently, if you ever happen to visit Brooks Koepka’s $2.5 million Jupiter home – consider yourself damn lucky if you ever do- the smiling face of a 3X Grammy winner will greet you. Courtesy of a crazy idea of her friends.

The wedding gift that decks the Koepka household

The Koepka couple didn’t have a registry in place for the wedding. Instead, they asked their guests to donate to their non-profits, Pageant of Hope and the Brooks Koepka Foundation. A noble gesture indeed. But their friends insisted on giving them a wedding gift.

Since 3x Grammy winner Ludacris was performing, their friends thought a good idea was to gift them… a Ludacris cardboard cutout! That too with a robe that has the lyrics of ‘My Chick Bad’ etched on the back. And, you don’t throw your wedding gift away, right? So, now the Koepka couple have a Ludacris cutout right in their home.

He’s like part of our family,” says Jena Sims on her Instagram story while showing the gift. But, the fun doesn’t stop there. Her friend also gave a similar robe to her baby son Crew, which has ‘My mom bad’ written on the back. “Ludacris and Crew have the matching robes,” a glowing Sims recounts with sheer joy.

While the 34-year-old model is keeping herself busy caring for her son, Brooks Koepka has flown off to Jeddah for the penultimate event of the LIV Golf season. The five-time Major winner and his team are looking to repeat last year’s victory.

Jeddah win crucial for Brooks Koepka and Co.

Depending on their performance at LIV Jeddah, Smash GC, sitting at no.8, can either earn a bye on the first round of LIV Miami or slide to the bottom five. A backslide will mean Smash GC has to win two back-to-back matches to find a top-four spot in the LIV Miami finals.

Last year, at the Royal Greens Golf and Country Club, the 33-year-old golfer snatched a dramatic win for his maiden LIV victory. This year, the nine-time PGA-Tour winner claimed his first victory at the LIV Orlando event. Currently, at the fifth position with 112 points, an individual win here might catapult him to the third position.

Albeit being some 9000 miles away from her husband, Jena Sims is cheering for the team. Recently, the new mom, posted a good luck message under Smash GC’s Instagram handle, pepping them up for a much-needed win at the Bride of the Red Sea.
