Tiger Woods’s ex-wife Elin Nordegren, has often come out in support of their son, Charlie Woods. She was present at his PGA Tour debut at last month’s Cognizant Classic, with Woods unable to attend. But the former couple were pictured together as they watched their son receive an honor.

Last November, the Benjamin School golf team won the Class 1A title. The players, which includes Charlie Woods, received their State Championship rings in a ceremony on Tuesday.

Woods and Nordegren attended the State Championship ring presentation on Tuesday, March 26, 2024, at Benjamin School, located in Palm Beach, Florida. They saw their son receive the championship ring following the team’s victory at Mission Inn Resort and Club, Florida, in November 2023. The cameras captured a few photos of Charlie Woods along with his parents.

One of the photos snapped Tiger Woods embracing his son on his success. Another photo caught Charlie Woods posing with his mother while Woods looked on. Both Woods and Nordegren have been on good terms since their divorce in 2010 and have been dedicated to working together for their two kids. In his 2017 book Woods revealed, “Elin and I are devoted to our kids, and we have become best friends as we care for them. It’s all about the kids for us.” This was evident once again as they showed up for their son’s big day at school and congratulated him. This wasn’t also the first time the two parents had come together for their son.

In 2020, Nordegren showed up at the PNC Championship to watch his son team up with Woods. Two years later Nordegren couldn’t attend the PNC Championship due to the birth of her second child with former NFL player Jordan Cameron, but Woods and his son wished her on camera. The father-son duo congratulated her on camera during the 2022 PNC Championship.

Coming to his recent success, Charlie Woods carded 76 and 78 to total 154 and finished T26 on the individual board in the state championship. This helped the school to emerge victorious on the final day of the FHSAA golf state championship against Florida Atlantic High and clinch their third title of 2023, following district and region wins.

The squad also included other golfers such as Brooks Colton, Pavel Tsar, Jake Valentine, and Tyler Bruneau. This win also marked the fourth state title in the history of the program as well as their first victory since the year 2009.

Apart from making a mark at the school level Charlie Woods tried his hands at PGA Tour and went for an early entry into the Cognizant Classic. Although he fell short, his mother was in attendance to cheer him on.

Even though his 48-year-old dad couldn’t make it to the event, the young athlete managed to reach the venue with his mother before his tee-off which was set at 7:30 A.M. While the golfer did have a good start with figures of 1-over through the first four holes, the same couldn’t be said by the end of the day as he finished T110 with a score of 16-over par.

Regardless, his mother’s presence could’ve lessened the blow for the 15-year-old, who is finally taking his first step toward a PGA Tour career. He has also teamed up with his father for the last four iterations of the PNC Championship.

After witnessing the recent meet-up, it appears both parents wouldn’t hesitate to keep aside their differences when it comes to their children and extend their support to them.
