Justin Thomas has proven his mettle many times on the course. But all of it was possible only due to the skills the golfer boasts, coupled with the support he received on and off the greens from his parents. And now, as he pairs up with his father for the PNC Championship, it is natural for people to become curious about his mother as well.

However, it’s not as if the duo left her alone while they came to enjoy the tournament. Instead, it appears to be the opposite. And, as the pro’s father teams up with his son, needless to say, the eyes fall on the golfer’s mother, who was, surprisingly, spotted taking the helm of a looper on the greens!

Although not much information has been revealed about the 30-year-old’s mother, Jani Thomas, she is undoubtedly a familiar face on the course. Moreover, she has been spotted a lot of times as part of the audience during the tournaments that the professional has taken part in. However, this time around, it seems that she was spotted on the greens helping her husband with the bags.

The 15-time PGA Tour pro’s mom is not new to the job of caddying. Moreover, she has been carrying the bags for the Senior Thomas ever since their PNC Championship debut in 2020. But what’s surprising was that the Thomas family, along with Brad Gehl, the professional’s looper back then, emerged victorious at the same time, scoring 25-under 119 and bagging the winner’s cut of $200,000. Well, that’s not all; the athlete’s mother also bought three Coronas with limes for the two golfers to celebrate their win. A full-family affair indeed!

She has since continued to carry the bags for her husband during the special events that followed. However, the group has not grabbed any victories since 2020. But even so, they placed T3 in 2021 at 24-under 120, followed by finishing as runner-up in 2022 with scores of 120 (-24). And, this year, the golfer’s mother would be hoping to support the golfers in replicating their debut performance at the PNC Championship.

The Senior Thomas is also a well-known figure in the golfing world. Moreover, his father, JT’s grandpa, was a professional on the PGA Tour who was able to play in the 1962 U.S. Open, where he finished at T15, and the 1983 US Senior Open. And so, golfing blood runs through the blood of the Thomases.

The 2X major champ’s dad has been working as the head coach of the Harmony Landing Country Club in Goshen, Kentucky, since 1990. And this inevitably helped the young Thomas get into the game of golf by the age of 2. Well, after all these years of JT enjoying the sport, the fans can be sure of one thing: he would be proud to call the two his parents, and vice versa.
