Watch: Phil Mickelson Isn’t Impressed With His Fan’s Calves at Champions Tour Event

Phil Mickelson is one of the fan-favorite on the PGA Tour. Moreover, he is also a prominent player on the Tour. Earlier this year, Phil became the oldest player to win a major championship. He won the 2021 PGA Championship at the age of 50 at Kiawah Island and won his sixth major trophy in his career.

Moreover, Mickelson is also well known for his fitness level. Even at the age of 51, he can play around 36 holes with ease. Furthermore, we also know Phil loves having interaction with fans on the course. And recently, a similar thing happened at the PGA Tour Champions. A fan tries to impress Phil Mickelson by showing off his calves

We all know Phil Mickelson has excellent fitness, and even at this age, he can easily compete against the youngsters. Phil especially has bulked calf muscles. And hence, a fan tried to show his calf muscles to Phil. He said, “Hey Phil, look at these puppies.” Mickelson just glanced at it and replied, “They are cute,” and walked past him. He didn’t seem too impressed with those calf muscles.

Meanwhile, the 51-year-old is currently competing in the Constellation Furyk and Friends event at PGA Tour Champions. Furthermore, before entering the final day, Mickelson leads the event by two strokes. He is currently at -11 and is looking to get his third win on the PGA Tour champions.

Furthermore, he has been playing some excellent golf this weekend and is hopeful of continuing the same on the final day as well. Moreover, Phil is only playing his fourth event on the champions tour and has already got two trophies.

Apart from Phil, several top players are also playing in this tournament. Most of them are competing here for their friend Jim Furyk, the tournament host who is also competing as a player and is five strokes behind the leader Mickelson.
