The PGA Tour has been one hell of a ride this year! The ongoing championship going on is the Valspar Championship in Palm Harbour, at the Innisbrook Resort, marking the end of its Florida Swing. It began on 21st March and will go on till 24th March, and the players will be playing for total prize money of $8,400,000.

Well, apart from all the eagles and birdies scored at the championship, that has made it immensely exciting to watch, one recent incident that took place left the entire golf community speechless!

A snake was found at the Valspar Championship!

The PGA Tour recently took to their official X (formerly Twitter) account and shared a video of the Copperhead Course that had an unexpected guest amidst the Valspar Championship. A snake was passing through the greens!

Well, looks like the Snake Pit has finally done justice to its name. They wittily captioned the video, “If you needed another reason to avoid the rough @ValsparChamp …” Another banter page for golf @NUCLRGOLF, shared the same video, and captioned it, “That’s a hazard”.

Looks like there is a lot the golf community has to comment about the incident that took place at the Valspar Championship. Clearly, some were directed to certain golfers who have recently brought about major changes in their professional careers.

Golf community calls out LIV Golfers

Certain members of the PGA Tour recently bailed on the tour to join the Saudi league. While they have made their intentions clear, fans seem to think that the shift was made only for money, and is completely outrageous about the matter.

While some of the followers, out of genuine concern, stated things like golf being a dangerous sport now because of the snake at Valspar Championship!

Others even gave quick solutions to what must be done to restore the safety of the tournament, and in return commit hazards from the field. One of them wittily even asked to hit the snake with a club iron.

But well, one of them called out Jon Rahm, who left the team after he was offered $600 million to be a part of the Saudi league. He wrote: “Rahm watching the PGA boys play

One of the fans, who himself is a golf player, suggested taking precautions rather than having to cure for what has happened at the Valspar Championship.

Patrick Reed too, was called out for accepting the invitation by the LIV Golfers. He is also often pulled out for cheating in the matches. Taking to this, one of them wrote: “Who let Reed on property?

While another, ironically called the snake harmless, and the Saudi league the real pests of the championships.

While another fan, straight away, asked for the withdrawal of the snake:

Well, whether a golfer of the LIV or the PGA Tour, if incidents like the one at Valspar Championship continue to happen, golf will indeed stop being a safe sport!
