Tiger Woods history at the Masters Tournament

Woods won his first Masters title on his first appearance as a professional golfer in 1997. He had won the tournament with a record-breaking 12-shot lead over Tom Kite. Along with the highest winning margin, Tiger also set a record of being the youngest to win the Masters at 21.

Furthermore, he became the first-ever black golfer to win a major with his victory at the Masters.

Later, the golfer went on to win another four times at the Augusta National. With his 2001, Woods became the only golfer in the world to keep all the four majors title at the same time. Moreover, he even became the third golfer to successfully defend the Masters title in 2002, after Jack Nicklaus and Sir Nick Faldo.
