A recent decision of the PGA Tour to suspend play at the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am has caused a stir among the golfing community. The official Twitter account of PGA Tour Communications broke the news to the public with a simple tweet reading: “Play has been suspended at the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am due to wind conditions.” The tweet went on to specify the exact time of suspensions at the two courses, Monterey Peninsula Country Club at 12:12 p.m. and Pebble Beach and Spyglass Hill at 12:20 p.m.

It’s worth noting that this isn’t the first time the PGA Tour has canceled matches due to windy conditions. Some fans have pointed out that the courses were in good shape and suitable for playing.
