It has been six years since Arnold Palmer has left the world. However, his legacy still lives within each and every golf fan. Justin Thomas paying tribute to the legendary golfer at the 2022 Masters is just an example of how much the golf world misses him.

Golf Digest posted a side-to-side photo of Thomas and Arnie wearing similar clothes while playing golf on its Twitter page.

Both Palmer and Justin are sporting blue polo t-shirts with yellow pants. The golf world took an instant interest in the comparison picture, as everyone loves both golfers.

Almost everyone thought that although Thomas had tried his best, Palmer had worn it better. There were also comments criticizing Thomas’ neon yellow pants.

Nevertheless, what nobody knew was that Thomas had actually paid tribute to Palmer until the young golfer commented on the post.

Justin Thomas explained himself by commenting on the post!

As soon as Thomas saw the fans comparing him to Arnie, he couldn’t stop himself from making a comment regarding it. The golfer explained why he wore the attire to the course in simple words. 

Thomas wore blue and yellow clothes to pay tribute to the legendary golfer.

Palmer has contributed to the world of golf in many ways. Arnie had won 62 PGA Tour championship titles ever since he joined the organization in 1955. Notably, Palmer has won four times at the Augusta National.

Thomas’ tribute to Palmer received mixed reactions from the fans. Many of them admired the young golfer for remembering the legendary golfer after years of his demise. 

While all of them appreciated Thomas paying tribute to Palmer, everybody thought that nobody could have beaten the legendary golfer in the said outfit.
